On a hot and humid day, my combover melted and I realized that I was only fooling myself and became a true bald guy. Now, 15 years later, we have created Bald Guyz, a complete line of grooming products that is made especially for the sensitive skin of the bald head. Bald Guyz is more than just a brand. We have created this web site to be a central location for everything and everyone bald. We want to hear from you! Tell us your bald stories, share your photos and just have fun! The more we hear from the bald community the better we can provide the best products and service for you. I hope you enjoy our site and look forward to hearing your ideas and stories.

I've just taken the plunge and shaved off my grey hair - decided that being totally bald made me look younger than having grey hair around a bald top.
I'd like advice on shaving - wetshave/clippers?? I'd like advice on getting a nice tanned head - it's still pretty white up there. Also, moisturiser/artificial tanning tips.
Thanks again!

To the 'New' bald guyz interested in shaving their heads.
First make a trip to your local CVS or WalGreens and pickup the following items.
Bald Guyz Ultimate Shave Gel For Head and Face
Bald Guyz Moisture Gel
multi-blade razor something like the G----tte Fusion 5-Blade Razor (the one with the battery)
Optional but highly recommended, Whal Groomsman trimmer kit $25-45.
Shaving tips:
I would recommend shaving about every other day. You can skip a couple of days perhaps depending on how fast your hair grows. CAUTION if you've never done this on a regular basis you could have some issues with razor burn. Take it slow and if you have more than 3/16" length you might want to get a barber cliper (new, sharp cutting head) and set it to the lowest position with NO attachments. Mow down what's up there then jump in the shower. But make sure you have picked up some Bald Guyz Ultimate Shave Gel at your local CVS or WalGreens.
In the shower apply the recommended amount of shaving product and lather up (step away from the running water first) and then with the multi-blade razor start shaving and check for soothness with your other hand as you progress. Becareful of the top your ears you might get some nicks and bleed a bit if you hurry (speaking from experience here). After you double check all areas of your scalp for remaining stubble you can then finish your shower.
After showering towel dry your newly shaved head. What, no blood! Pat yourself on the back. Grab that Bald Guyz Moisture Gel you bought and apply liberaly to your scalp for the finishing touch and to help the health of your skin.
It gets easier after a few times and you'll be done shaving within 3 minutes.
I don't recommend shaving your face in the shower. Go in front of the mirror for that expecially if you have a goatee and/or a 'stache.
Cheers!

As for the tan head...
That happens naturally but use caution and apply sunscreen if you're new at this. You can get one heck of a sunburn very quickly until your skin gets conditioned to the lovely solar rays. I usually get a couple of fairly sensitive sunburns early in the summer season. I use sunscreen on a rare occasion as my skin has toughened up over the years. Yes, I should apply some SPF something anytime I go out but I don't. However I do use the Bald Guyz Mosturizing Gel after I come back inside. It helps sooth the sunburn and begins to help heal the skin rather quickly as the product contains aloe and some other great ingredients.
Note: Yes, you can get sunburn in all year round. So wear a hat if you must or get a couple of level 3 (no blisters, but very warm to the touch) sunburns until your skin toughens.
And a nicely shaven head does make you look younger and the girls love it (well not all of 'em). Get some cool sunglasses while you're on eBay or some cheap ones at CVS it helps with the finishing touches for that handsome image.
Happy tanning!

I prefer a wet shave to using the clippers. By doing a wet shave you will get a much closer shave.
Any advice would be appreciated on how to get rid of and avoid getting bumps?
Bald guys are awesome!

If you use the Bald Guyz system of Wash, Shave Gel and Moisture Gel you will notice an amazing transformation of your skin and the dissappearance of any razor bumps and irritation.
